Pastel shades are still popular for wedding decorations but many couples choose brighter tones such as sunflowers. With its bright yellow petals and its large heart, the sunflower is always the favorite of brides and grooms who want to give a rural, radiant and sunny touch to their wedding.
Pastel shades are still popular for wedding decorations but many couples choose brighter tones such as sunflowers. With its bright yellow petals and its large heart, the sunflower is always the favorite of brides and grooms who want to give a rural, radiant and sunny touch to their wedding.
Sunflower has many benefits:
Its size : Available in several sizes, it is easy to use it to decorate the aisle of your secular wedding ceremony: Two or three flowers and a little greenery in jars decorated with rope, string or ribbon or even a single medium-sized flower in glass bottles and presto! That's it !
Its strength : The sunflower stem is quite sturdy, so you can slip it into chair knots or decorate your arch. With some care, it won't break. And for your table decoration, little sunflowers in pretty jam jars will have a great effect!
Its price : Inexpensive, sunflowers allow you to treat yourself without spending a fortune: Why not fill a watering can, an old metal bucket or even a wheelbarrow! A little imagination and a lot of effects guaranteed for the guests who will be present during the secular ceremony.
In addition, the sunflower goes (is that true?) with everything: ivy, fern, pine cones, moss, branches, bamboo, etc. So let your imagination run wild.
I have been an officiant for 8 years and I have noticed that this little sun is increasingly appearing in the bride's bouquet, in her hair and in the gentleman's buttonhole and come on! We take the theme a little further with a little yellow tie!
I have always loved this pretty flower whose large head undulates in the July fields with the wind before bowing to the setting sun.
I hope that these beautiful images captured by photographers Gaël Sacré and Benjamin Mineau will make you also want to invite the sun to your wedding.
See you soon !
